Scope question

Post by VBull »

I recently acquired an MVA 3000 scope and got around to mounting it.
It did not come with any instructions on how to adjust the focus and parallax.
I'm familiar with both Feckers and Unertls.
I can adjust the ocular end to get a good crisp view of the crosshairs.
I can move the objective end but does not clear things. Does anyone here have the instructions and or a scan.
I've checked the MVA web site and they have downloads of most everything else but what I'm looking for.
Thanks

Frank,

The ring in the middle has two lock screws. Loosen them and rotate for focus of the target.

Give me a few minutes and I'll post the instructions from the MVA booklet that came with my scope.

Something I have done that helps. I drill a hole in the ocular lens cap of approximately 3/32 inch. With the cap installed, all parallax is gone and I don't have to re-focus for a different range. It does reduce the light and narrow the field of view, but I can still see mirage in that little six power scope.

Woody,
I've used the drilled Ocular lens cap on a couple of my other scopes. Thanks for reminding me to try it.
At the same time as putting a scope on this rifle, I also installed a Crossno insert.
Very surprised and pleased on the results.
