Maybe I should setup a table at the gun show and sell some of my primer stock. I still have some when they sold for under $10. a thousand :D
There getting old but they are good. Work better than the Br-2.
And I have some Alcan max fire primers also and they went out of business back in the 70's.

Heck Kurt, I've been reloading and shooting for a few years, but I don't remember a CCI box looking like that.

After the Clinton drought, I thought I was OK. Then the Obama .22 drought hit. I had just laid in a case in .22 target ammo. I made it through that one too. This one started with two cases of Swiss and 17K primers. I'm down to 11K primers and and after last week, my tin and lead supply will out last my powder and primers. Not as comfortable as I would like but I'm OK.

The wonderful biden administration. So many screwups they are getting hard to keep track of. Thankfully I stocked up on powder before all this crap hit. I also have over 40,000 large rifle primers and 13,000 large pistol primers for the .45 ACP - at the rate that I shoot I am good for quite a awhile. The biden build back better initiative better known as the build back better bankruptcy is a total cluster you know what. This country is headed down a dark road.

And in the recall election in California we couldn’t recall our idiot governor because most voters that wanted him out just sat on their ass. From what I heard, the stats showed that if 65% of registered Republicans had actually voted we would have won by a landslide- now we have this idiot in office for another year with no end to the bulls$&@t.

I noticed some of these really old primers had domed tops. I would expect them to require a more centered firing pin strike , no?

My shotgun primers have domed tops and my Winchester 97 smacks them off center. They have always gone bang.
