Re: FedEx not delivering powder
It's not just FedX. I had to put two tracers on two shipments with USPS.
One took over a week to get to 2-1/2 hrs driving time for me and the post office had to find it, it was stuck in a machine.
The second took 16 days to come from Arkansas and was stuck in Chicago and the only way to get it 130 miles to me from there it took a tracer to find that.

FedEx did the same to me with a Smith & Wesson Mk. II HE delivered to me (I have a C&R). "Here ya go! Have a good one!" I never signed a thing. I was supposed to sign something, so I was told.

Re: FedEx not delivering powder
All the delivery companies are overwhelmed right now, and franticly hiring new drivers. Most of the deliveries around here have been made in rented U-Haul trucks, as they're still trying to figure out if they should expand their fleets.
Limber Up!

It’s this whole covid mess b.s. I just received 25 lbs of the last of the Goex from BACO. No issues and the delivery went smoothly. Unfortunately this covid crap has caused shipping and supply chain issues everywhere. Row upon row of anchored ships in port of Los Angels waiting to get unloaded. It’s a frickin’ mess.

Fedex delivered one package to my mailbox, it was too big, they just threw it on the ground and left it there on the side of the road.

I just read Jonny’s post about Dave Gullo signing for his powder. That’s hilarious!

Exactly. My Center-X from Creedmoor sat for 7-days 80mi from my house while my Bartlein barrel arrived from WI in 4-days. Fedex used to be the best and are now, by far, the worst. Hopefully, we haven't let the Post Office be destroyed.

left on porch here in Florida. no worries.
of course, if you want to visit Florida, you have to show a gun when you cross our border.

Finally received the powder...7 days late but, better late than never. FedEx guy was from out of state...said Fedex had to bring in out of state workers

Re: FedEx not delivering powder
I saw a video where they said that a bunch of drivers that used to take containers from the port of Los Angeles had been hired away to work for department stores or other local shops. Seems those drivers aren’t making much money and so they got better jobs elsewhere. This supply chain issue is going to get a lot worse too by all accounts.
My own feelings on this is that the covid caused people to take stock of their situation and now lots of people aren’t going to put up with working crappy jobs for low pay.

Exactly! Our son-in-law is a home builder and he never knows if he will have a crew on Monday - he may find them off in the next development where some body else poached them. He gets cement and lumber deliveries by paying on site immediately after delivery instead of normal billing. We are having some remodeling done and our contractor is struggling finding subs that have people with enough experience to do the cement and electrical work. BACO said the ship the Swiss was on that was due here in October is not coming till spring. I just missed my chance at more powder. I just read that now we are not energy independent anymore, plan for black outs.
On the other side of that coin - if you can't find a job in this environment you aren't looking. Almost every place we go has "Help wanted" signs in the windows. I get emails that USPS, FEMA, and Burlington Northern railroad is hiring - I have never gotten those emails before. I retired years ago but forgot my resume was still somewhere on one of the sites recruiters go to. I thought it expired and was taken down, but I get notices that it has been looked at almost every week for the last 6 months. My not-updated-for-years resume got 13 "looks" last week.
OBTW - some UPS employees are now interrogating me on what I am mailing - if it is "gun parts".

Well this supply chain fiasco is going to bring down the Chinese just as fast as it brings us down…
