And I have one of those molds sitting on the shelf that I haven't used in 15 years because I thought I found something better because it was more expensive. There's a lesson there somewhere. I guess I'll warm up the casting pot.

Woody,
Thanks, the previous 40 shots in load testing sure helped center up the group! Maybe I shouldn't fix the loose front sight
Deadeye,
That bullet isn't my GoTo bullet either! I usually use it at chicken and pig lines, just seems to need more windage farther out.
Picked up the mold off the prize table at a Missoula regional about 15 years ago. MLV told me it was a good bullet, he designed it or helped design it. Been so long ago I cant remember which.

My stiches are starting to dissolve, and it was warm today, (45). I think I'll load up my last test with enough to zero it before I shoot a group. We have weather coming in a couple of days, but maybe tomorrow or after the weather. I did load and shoot several tests of a new to me 2nd Gen Colt 1860 Army. My hand was comfortable through the five cylinders I shot. I quess I better get to cleaning it.

Chronographing long range loads today, looked up at the themometer in the truck about 3:00 PM, read 80F.
Would have been unfair to shoot groups as the winds were calm.
Fortunately, I applied sunscreen before I left for the range.

Got some single digit extreme spreads :D

If the thread Guru wasn't so consumed with environmental jealousy he would have determined if this lovely group was fired using irons or scope and updated the ten shot category listed. Wonder if the oversight is due to frozen brain cell? Yes, in this case the word cell is singular.

Having only one brain cell, I require the use of a full size computer to update results. ( Which I didn't have).
Commenting on your comments only takes a smart phone cause it can do the thinking for me.

Excellent! That Semtav is on a roll.

Amazing what a solitary cell can accomplish when effectively motivated.

Got in the 40's today so I wanted to try a different load for my 45 2 7/8 and the Wasserbullet.
Gave up on a score when my first adjustment was suppose to be 2 moa up and went 6+ moa up. (only had 7 shells)
Still came up with a 1.5 moa vertical in some pretty gusty winds. Horizontal sucked but that was probably me and the wind.

Dug my Wesson #1 45 2.6 out and gave it a try too. Its shooting about 10+ moa left so need to figure that out.
