Yes, Happy B'day to all Marines. Was reminded of same as we walked by the street musician on the boardwalk today as she was playing the Marine Hymn.

And, an early Happy Veterans Day to all my fellow vets. Meal 'on the house' at the Texas Roadhouse tomorrow, thank you very much. Always celebrate same with another VN vet who survived two tours and two helicopter crashes.

Heard a great deal about the Ol' Corps today. Then I recalled a ditty I heard about the Ol' Corps:

The old Corps, the old Corps!
There never was an old Corps.
As Tun's first Marine sneered
when the second appeared, "It's not like it was back in the Ol' Corps!"

To all Marines past and present, especially those I served with '64-68 and those of Echo battery, 12 Marines, Vietnam '65-67, a hearty "Well done and carry on!"....
