Heck if I known you were looking for Unique I would have given you a can. I been loading Cornmeal blanks forming .38-50 cases using it, I could have uses 231 powder or some shotgun powder.
I have about a 1/4 can left and I will save it and bring it to Friendship.
I will look if I have another can out in the shed in the dead freezer.

I use Unique in my 38-55 Winchester 94 for plinking loads, my 44-40 SAA pistol, Model 73 Rifle, and 45 Colt pistol. A pound and 1/2 goes a long way, which is my current inventory of Unique, plus a fair number of loaded rounds, waiting for warmer weather and my hand to heal.

I think a lot of us are wanting it a little warmer :D I shot a few blanks today again in the garage and maybe I will get to the range tomorrow and shoot some lead bullets :D getting up to 30º
I hope you didn't catch that hand in the saw. My foot is healing pretty well, still gives me a pain when I get careless.

No accident. Just trigger finger lock release on my left index and ring finger last Monday. Healing nicely and should be ready for my next Bullseye match next week. I think I'll shoot .22 instead of .45 though. Now you just have to stay away from the Ohio River.

Midway has CCI small rifle magnum primers. Just so I know I’m not crazy those won’t work for a 45-70 correct? Too small in diameter for the primer pocket?

. . . . and Doug Gazaway told me when I was in Georgia that he uses a Cheerio as an over primer wad. He figures the hole lets the flame get to the powder better. You Georgia boys are a bunch of kidders for sure. How you doing Charles?

They’re serious!! I think it was Coltsmoke that said he used masking tape for patching paper, and let his dirty patches sit in the bag in the back of his truck for a few days and they would clean themselves, and I heard something about paper patching .22’s it must work cause they are some darn good shooters!

I watched "The Gaze" demonstrate is patented self-decapping primer system. Interesting what it takes to make a complete balanced load. My only advice on BR2 primers is to orient the shiny side out and the BR at 12 o'clock. If you choose not to, then just follow Charles advice and PTP, "patch to pocket", with your supply of small rifle primers.
