We have been tossing around the idea of going to ridgeway. When i pulled up the SB and HP entry forms they all say US nationals. Is this not an NRA National ? It's my understanding that they are the NRA national Silhouette championships.
If you need to ask " What just happened?' you have probably lost.

First time on this Forum so .....
Ridgway Rifle Club has approved the purchase of two complete sets (80 pcs) of .22 sized silhouette targets and more to follow if participation is there for bigger matches
I’m hoping to have some informal matches on Saturday afternoon before the regular scheduled monthly match once we have the targets
RRC is in the process of having a huge number of new Silhouette targets build for all the National Matches being
held there this year, so it might be awhile before we see them
Rich
Hey, Rich - good to see you here.
If you think you can get it together for a 2-day .22BPCR match to go with the big-bore BPCR nationals I'll be happy to help out with same (as long as I can still shoot the match). I'm reasonably capable with the paperwork end of things, plus have run a match or three in the past. Am guessing I could recruit another person or two to help out, as well.

Thanks for all the encouragement guys
Let’s hope and if we all work together we’ll make 2020 a great year at Ridgway
RRC president Mike Haynes has been great, and I think he and Craig will do their very best to make National BPCR Competition a reality in the East
Dan Zimmerman at DZ Arms was kind enough to let RRC’s fabricator use his CNC program for cutting out the .22 BPCR targets....Great Guy
Any help from you Glenn would be great too.....
RRC’s schedule is really full and already set for 2020 so a two day match I don’t know if it’s possible
We’ll just have to wait a see
Best
Rich

I see the NRA has posted the dates for the Nationals at Ridgway this year.

https://competitions.nra.org/competitio ... pionships/

They have the dates wrong for Black Powder.

These are the correct dates.

Also, I wanted to talk about the 500 lb. cement benches on the firing line at Ridgway.
I'll have the club move them to just behind the firing line.
That way they'll be out of the way but close enough to use as a staging area for all of our "stuff"

Fell free to email with any questions you may have.

They must have corrected it. The NRA has the same dates.

Craig - will there be porta-potties added near each end of the firing line? Raton has at least sixteen (16), so would think a dozen (six at each end) would work well. Better to have too many than too few. Us old guys don't do well standing in line.
