OKC BPCR REGIONAL

Post by Jeanne Ring » Fri Feb 14, 2020 4:16 pm

Our 2020 regional will be the third weekend in September.

We are thinking of NOT having .22, and extending our BPCR to three 40-shot matches. This will give more opportunity for national records (40-, 80-, and 120-shot records) and in-a-rows.

We would welcome input from those that plan to attend.

Thanks.

We did the numbers and think we're good. Three 40 shot matches will give folks more opportunity to get their 10 in a rows . I think we're gonna see someone get their 10 chicken pen this year at our regional match.
The big bore matches are easy for Jeanne and I to keep running..even if the compressor went down we're good. Putting up and taking down the 22 targets are a real hassle. We've never had a complaint about ringing the big bore targets.
Having three days of BPCR and no 22 matches will allow us to have more door prizes, more awards and more side matches.

I feel our .22bpcr matches can never equal Mike Basset's Tornado alley.
Shoot Mike Basset's fantastic .22 tornado alley match in may...In September shoot our 120 round BPCR Silhouette match. Life is good at Oklahoma City.
If you need to ask " What just happened?' you have probably lost.
