2021 22BPCRA National Championship Match

Post by Tebbeman » Sun Nov 08, 2020 9:27 pm

Hello all and mark your calendar or submit your vacation requests and come shoot this fun and challenging National match. The dates are set with a range setup and practice day on Sunday July 11th and then 60 shot matches on July 12th, 13th & 14th culminating this 180 shot aggregate total with the crowning of our National Champ on the 14th. Historically this is a well attended and enjoyable match and this year it has been extended by an additional day which will make it interesting.

Also available will be a 2 day big bore BPCR match on July 15th and 16th hosted my the Smithmoor and HOTSA ranges. Information for the 2021 BPCR International Championship will come out separately from the 22 match as it is not under the umbrella of the 22BPCRA.

So, start planning for the best matches west of the Mississippi at the historic range of the NRA National Championship and arguably the best venue available to silhouette shooters. See you at the Whittington Center in July.

Kenny,
Those of us who entered last year will be "rolled over" into the 2021 dates?
Any more on the creedmoor match?
Can you post a list of those who will be "rolled over" if that is the case?
thanks
Dick

Dick no there is no rollover into the 2021 match as everyone will send in a new entry form (when they become available) as well as entry fees. If a person paid their $15 for membership into the 22BPCRA and received a new scorebook those will be valid for 2020 & 2021

Not sure on the creedmoor match as it seems some of y’all on this forum ticked off the kind soul who was willing to do all the work putting it together. If there is one then we’ll get the info out as it comes together.

That sounds good Kenny! In a previous thread, there was a mention of a potential additional day of 1000 yard competition. Is that still a possibility? I would love to be able to punch some holes in paper no matter what the distance. I miss it!

That happens all to frequently I'm afraid.
Jeanne and I are extremely grateful to anyone and everyone involved in running ANY match at Raton.

Hello all and Happy New Year. We are 6 months out from the 22BPCRA National Championship and your directors are hard at work planning. Here's where we need your help......we are interested in hiring someone to call the match, you know be the "voice of Raton" for the silhouette matches. This is a paid position, but don't expect to get rich, and you'll become famous. Several folks have requested Judge Kirk Martin's return but I believe he will be competing this year.

So if you, someone you know, or someone you're related to would like to MC the shooting matches (3 days for 22 and if possible 2 days big bore) then I'd like to speak to you. Feel free to post here, or email me at Kenny4570@gmail.com
