The Desert International Long Range Black Powder Championship Match HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED and we have no reason to suspect that it may be cancelled.

The foregoing information in the post above is correct.

We do need to purchase target cardboard, targets, etc and please register at your first opportunity so we know how much to acquire !

Don't miss out on the biggest long range black powder match on the planet.

Oh no, Paul? Disclosing such disappointing information will likely keep Tom Selleck from attending. Drat!

Actually Zack when we had supper with Tom over the holiday he said that he is still thinking about going. Fear Not.

Seriously, thank you for all your effort and passion to keep this shoot going. I'm afraid the border being closed presents me with an insurmountable problem.

I had a must go meeting that got scheduled in December that would make getting there on time pretty tough, then another meeting right smack in the middle of the match, so regretfully had to cancel my campground reservation.
But the good news from that is space 53 in the shooters East campground should be available for the entire thing. :)

Yes, the rocks are dangerously exposed at Ben Avery.

In case you folks elsewhere are wondering what it is like weather wise in Phoenix here is a link that you can access: :D

https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/39 ... 3e5cfb65e9

Before I went to the above site I did check Wyoming, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin and Michigan. Nuff said.

Right now in Rio Rico it is only up to 71 F in the shade, winds calm.
