We may need to take a trip or two east this year. We have always vacationed and shot out west...time for a change i think. Thanks for posting this.

You will be welcome at any shoot in the east should you decide to come. You should probably pick a multi day shoot such as Friendship, KY or MI instead of a one day shoot. Shippensburg is a one day shoot but there is much to see around there such as Gettysburg and other battlefields in Maryland and Virginia. The Marine Corp museum in Quantico is rated as one of the best in the country. The Army has just opened their museum and there is the NRA museum in Fairfax.

Don't forget the other PA BPCR matches (both BP & 22BPCR) at Ridgway, PA, which is generally the following weekend. Shoot Shippensburg, site-see for several days (Gettysburg, etc.) and head up to Ridgway for another match.

Sounds like a plan. We have vacationed out west since 1980. I had a 3 month stay in VA. many years ago but didn't get to sight see much. I could carry a pistol all over Dc then...now I think things have changed a little. If we can get this Covid-19 vaccine and things seem under control, we'll head east to shoot our BPCR guns. I guess I better get to checking where I should stay away from with rifles in the car.
