2021 SE Regional .22 / BPCR/ BPTR match

Post by Fishslayer » Tue Mar 09, 2021 6:20 pm

I know this is a little early, but wanted everyone interested in coming to the 4 day SE Regional Match at River Bend Gun Club in GA to know that our dates this year will be Oct 21st - 24th. We plan to keep the same format that we have used the last 2 years - Thurs 10/21 -traditional .22 midrange match from 200 yds with reduced targets for 200, 300, and 600 yds. Friday is a 600 X 2 black powder match. Sat/Sun will be a 2 day aggregate Silhouette match with our BBQ banquet on Saturday night. We can take up to 48 entries. Poster and registration forms will be posted later. Mark your calendars as this is always a lot of fun and the weather should be great in Oct.

I guess I'll be square. My 37 year old youngest son has decided to get married in AZ. Since he waited this long, I probably should show up. I will be sending something down for the prize table though. Sorry I'll miss it. Always a great match.

It seems everyone is getting back into traveling again after being cooped up for so long. Entries are now being received earlier than expected. Come and join the fun............

Think John and I will head down. May have a few folks from PA joining in. Great match to wind up the season.

Wanted to give everyone an update for the 2021 SE Regional Match coming up Oct 21-24. I imagine everyone will be ready to have some cooler weather in GA after this summer is over. We are getting in registrations for this match and I want to thank Tom Klinger, Kim Kelley, Blair Svihra, Mark Harrison and some of the NC Boys for being the first to register!
We will use the same format as we did last year with the 3 X 22 traditional rifle match on 10/21 at reduced targets from the 200 yd berm. 3 X 600 yd black powder match on 10/22 (entry form shows 2 X 600 but we should be able to get in 3 relays). Sat/ Sun 10/23-24 will be the 2 day aggregate Silhouette Match that will be NRA sanctioned. I'm still waiting on NRA to recognize Jake Graves (Lee Burrows' grandson), as setting a new national record at our Regional last year for Sub Juniors at the Silhouette Match.
We'll have our BBQ banquet and prizes on Sat night and there will be awards/plaques for the 22, 600, and Silhouette matches. Registrations are required and limited to 48 entries.
