Lucinda's Hammer
Kirk, is the swept back hammer on Lucinda's rifle an option or just a one time thing? I really like the looks of it.

Re; "lucinda's hammer"
Kirk... Is this just an R&R job or will there be other mods needed? Also, how much is it? Do you have any in house now? Thanks for your time on this. "Lumpy Grits" PS. "Lucinda's Hammer", impressive name for it. Has she applied for copyright & patent rights yet?

In the 2003 catalogue page 5 the French Grey finish is Lucindas gun I do believe. Got to hold that beauty in my hands when I was in Big Timber in September. I changed my LRE to French Grey after seeing it.

On the home page of their web site, go to RIFLE ADD-ONS, then CUSTOM FEATURES. Scroll down to METAL FINISHES. The hammer in question is on the rifle listed as NEW French Gray Engraved.

Lucinda's Hammer
Just another thought......
Do you want period correct or do you want a "Bisley" hammer because it is something new? How about a concave crown? Need a black stock just for hunting??? I can go on and on................
Personally, I like the original hammer. FWIW....................Jim

Getting a custom rifle, one should match the rifle to the shooter. And, since I am not quite old enough to be "period correct" Then the rifle should be as close to "period correct" as I am. Nuff Said

Lucinda' Hammer
Kirk: It is a very interesting shape. Would like to have the opportunity to see one close up. Now, to my point:- What are the chances of getting a 'Hartford' style of hammer ? It would be nice. I'd buy one in a New York minute. Take care, Bigfifty.
