Kirk - trigger lubrication?

Post by Jsmith0013 »

Kirk:
I have several Shilohs and at the end of each season will remove the block for a more thourough cleaning and lubrication. However, I have never pulled the trigger assembly out. At the end of each season I put the rifle in the cleaning stand upside down and put 1 or 2 drops of Breakfree on the triggers and let it run down inside. I let it sit like that overnight and call it good.

Would you recommend anything additional being done for the trigger mechanism?
Thanx,

Good morning, I do the exact same thing with our guns. The rifle I shoot is now 13 years old and has never had a problem, I also put a couple drops on the lever roller and by doing this have never had any spring failure in any of our personal guns, and they get a lot of use from customers shooting them. Thanks Kirk
