I'm looking into getting a 44-77. Buffalo Arms has Captech Int. brass listed but does not list rim thickness. They list the 44-90 for Shiloh at .079.
Will the Captech 44-77 work in the the Shiloh chamber?
I called and they said buy one piece and try it in the rifle, I don't have the rifle and would like to start buying what I need before brass disappears again.

Re: 44-77 Chamber
The Captec 44-77 brass is built to Shiloh chamber drawings. It works just fine.

Re: 44-77 Chamber
I have 2 separate batches of 44-77 brass. Some from Captec and some from Jameson. I have measured the rim thickness on all of my cases and the thickness one was in the neighborhood of .077. If you want and/or are having a 44-77 built go ahead and get your brass while you can. When this batch is all sold, it may be a while before anyone makes another run. If nothing else, it will cost less now than it will a year from now.
