40 caliber bore size
I did a chamber cast and pushed a bullet thru the barrel and the bore size came out .4045, was wondering if this is the bore size all 40 casliber Shiloh's are. Seems pretty tight to me. Might have to order a special mold for it. Chamber cast came out same as bullet.

Re: 40 caliber bore size
The bore and groove is .400" x .408", order a mold .399" x .408" and you will be perfect.
Remember there is a slight choke and when you push through the slug gets smaller, you always measure corner to corner also.
Just trying to save you money on ordering the wrong mold!!

Kirk, How far down the barrel does your "small choke run"? Mori
