Hi,
I purchased a rifle from you back in 2010, serial number 5288B, and while shooting it this past weekend I found that the lever had no tension on it and would not stay in the up or closed position. After removing the forend I found that the spring had cracked. If you need it I do have a picture of the spring I can e-mail to you this afternoon.
If you would, please send a replacement spring to:

Thanks for your assistance!

Re: Broken spring
It would be best for you to call Shiloh as they will also want to know if it's a std weight bbl or heavy.
I would suggest at least 1 spare spring, and firing pin tip.

Re: Broken spring
I have had two lever springs break on my Pedersoli 1874 Sharps during the past 10 or so years.
Last month during the Lone Tree Match I thought I had another broken spring.
No sir.
The screw that held the spring in place broke.

Re: Broken spring
Was it the head of the screw? Were you able to get the rest out?
Not hard to re-tap to 1/4X20 or 28 thd and use cap screw.

Re: Broken spring
The screw broke below the surface.
I used a 'dremel' cut off wheel to make a slot in what was left of the screw so I could take it out!

Re: Broken spring
The next time you twist a screw head off below the surface and it did not bottom out in the hole just sharpen a soft pencil eraser and press it on the screw and turn it out. Once the head is off they come out pretty easy if it didn't bottom out
