How to use the Search Feature

I'm having difficulty with the search function. For example I'm looking for threads on paper patching bullets. Entering "paper patch bullet" yields a message that the words were too common so no search was made. Then upon entering "bullet diameter for paper patch bullets" it comes back with the following: ignored: diameter patch paper bullet for ... zero results! I've never experienced anything like this on any other forum.

Can someone tell me what is happening. So far I've not been able to get anything out of the search function. Is there a setting or something that I'm missing?

Had the same problem, it sucks! Never did figure it out.

Try this instead:
Go to google or in the url box of your browser, type in something like

Paper patch bullet diameter site:viewtopic.php?p=287978#p287978

where the http://url is the forum you want to search .
