Great news :!:
Was there much volume difference between bulk vs weight :?:
How much are you compressing now?

70 grains bulk equaled 68.2 grains by weight. I compressed slightly over 1/8 inch. I haven't yet worked on COAL or charge weight. I used Goex fffg and CCI br2 primers. I have some Swiss 1 1/2 on order, and plan to work up final load with it. Also spoke with Shiloh today about my tang sight...its too old to get a smaller orifice eye cup for and the one on it is designed for hunting. Thanks again for your help.

Goex likes to be compressed, 1/4"-3/8" is common. Add about 2-4 more gns of powder and see what the target sez..
Look hard at Goex Old 'E' in 2F.
Swiss is to pricey for this ol-boy......Hope it works for you.
Just seat the bullet now, to just cover all the grease grooves.

Nearest is Bend, OR...about 5 hours. I can shoot to 300 yards on my property and find a few back country stretches for more. Lots of mountains and trees. Beautiful but not open country.
