Firing Pin

Hi,

I have 5 Shilo rifles - serial numbers:

1261B - Quigley
6916B - Long Range Express
6670B
B3442
B3889

My question is - are the firing pins the same design on all the rifles I own? I would like to order extra firing pins in case I break one. I saw a post where the firing pin design on Shilos had changed but don’t know the cut-off for the serial numbers where the change occurred. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Best Regards,

Eric

B3889 is so gorgeous - I have not shot this rifle - chambered in 45-90. Schnable forend and schnable pistol grip - checkered on forend and pistol grip. Half octagonal heavy barrel polished. Wood is beautiful. I bought this rifle used at a gun shop for $2800.00. It had crappy aftermarket tang sights and original blade front sights on it. MVA long range buffalo soule and windage adjustable front sight were installed. I should go and shoot it but have mostly shot the Quigley model in 45-110 which is a joy to shoot. Love these Shilo single shot sharps. Can’t own just one - wood and metal fit and finish is absolutely the best!

Best Regards,

Eric

Ha ha!

Thanks Kirk! I must have been mistaken about the post I saw. I’ll call and order a few.
