Haven't seen other brands mentioned.

Gussy my Lyman DPS 1200 III works quite well, it got zapped in a really nasty static electric storm. I called Lyman they said send it to them, about a month later I got it back no charge, and it's been working fine ever since. They even sent parts that I didn't send with the machine..

I have a Hornady DPS and that thing is a pain, it doesn't throw consistent charges with either black or smokeless.

I never had luck with mine. Fine dust would bind the dispenser and gave irregular dispensing. It worked flawless with smokeless but finally crapped the bed for good. I called RCBS for a replacement and they said I was SOL. Finally baptized it with 00 buck  YMMV. Still wouldn’t stop me from getting another one.

Natchez has them on sale. 289 with free shipping. The shipping special ends today. Not sure how much longer the 289 price tag will last

Kurt,

What did you buy? I looked through the Sheets website and could only find the Hornady. Does Sheets offer that warranty on anything they sell?

Clarence the Scheels search is hit and miss. You need the exact wording to find anything and even this is hit and miss.
They have a no BS warranty on all of their products that has the Scheels name on it.

Here is the unit I have and it's been flawless and exact in it's drop. If it does miss the exact it will only be off 1/10 gr and this is seldom if you put it through it's warm up and calibrations.
It does have a black powder warning like all electronic drops have, but I don't know if the warranty is void if you do use black in it. I haven't had to send it in yet and it has dispensed many pounds of powder for me.

I just received my new Chargemaster from Midway. They where on sale so jumped on it. Also bought a anti static mat with the strap for the hopper and have it all grounded. My first runs with 1 1/2f black where very impressive and I think that I am going to really enjoy this for volume reloads Still like my 3 belding-mulls but this thing is a 21st century luxury!

Anyone tried the "ChargeMaster Lite" or the Hornady "Auto Charge"? Wonder how they compare.
