What dies should I order?

Post by Manny Clothakis »

Sorry, should have also asked if I should order the cowboy action dies offered by RCBS, or the three dies set. I want to get the best choice the first time, will be loading lead only bullets....thanks once again, Manny

Manny, a very nice lady named Pat Wolfe offers a 5 die set for the .45-70 that includes a compression die and separate crimp die, and you can get the set for about the same price or less than some of the others. I have a set of Redding and a set of the Wolfe (Lee) dies, and prefer the Wolfe. They work great, and you won't have to purchase a separate compression die. I am able to use this die for .45-70, .45-90, and .45-110. Randy
