my cast bullets are dropping out as .458 diameter the lyman 457677 is designed to shoot as is just lubricate them. my rifle has a bore diameter of .4575
now i ask this question, can i shoot these different weight bullets without resizing? i think that the extra .001 would help to close the gap that the driving bands don't get to and be more accurate. any comments? i try and use the #2 alloy

Re: diameter of bullets
I shoot .458 bullets in a .462 bore, and I get pretty good accuracy in my rifle, like shooting ragged holes. No need to worry about minor differences in bullet diameter with BP. There are more important things than a size difference of .001 when shooting these rifles... Just load some up and shoot.
