For the BA 409400M4 bullet I use the blow tube for an entire match, without cleaning. This is only done when shooting under a covered line. If shooting Target Rifle or Silhouette (sans roof) during the summer, I will always push patches to avoid fouling out. It's amazing how hot a barrel can get shooting in direct sunlight.FWIW.................
