AZ ShrpShtr Cartridge Loading Tool(s)

Post by SSShooter »

As it appears that Arizona Sharpshooters is now defunct with the passing of Steve Rhoades (may he RIP) and I need another of his cartridge loading tools for my Hepburn I'm going to make up several to offer to our fellow shooters. If anyone has one for a Shiloh would loan it to me for a pattern I'll also make up several of them.

Harlan Sage makes several different models in an acrylic plastic at a very reasonable price and may suit your purpose.

Yep. I'll stick with 6061 for the lever with a tool-steel pivot pin.

He made the two that I have and if I recall correctly I was present when he delivered two others to two other shooters that he said he made.

Cody is supplying one for a '74 and Gary for the HW and I have the Hepburn. If you would provide the Borchardt for measurements I'll add that to the mix. I'm away until 2nd week of June and will contact you then. Thanks to all.

If anyone wants one, please let me know via PM (can't respond until June) so I can figure out the #'s. Planning on making a run of 6 on all but the Borchardt (likely only do a couple). If you know you want one, I'll add to the run.

Excuse my ignorance but what are cartridge loading tools?
What are they for, and why are they needed?
I googled it but only got reloading tools.

You still need one? I have one you can use if you're still in need.
