just a question..has anyone heard of 10 pound patching paper? Nine is ok, but I'd like to see if 10 would still chamber.

there can be much difference in thickness beteen say 9lb papers.
lb weight is a rough guide at best.
it can pay to get a selection of onion skins from ebay just to try them out.
sometimes 8 lb can be thicker than 9 lb.
if you find one that suits you can then look out for more of that specifically.
the other thing is to buy a mob of seth cole 55w, and get a mould to suit.
that paper is repeatable and available.

I did compare 9 lob papers and 7 and 8 .
I found that the 9 lb bunch runs at .015 and the 7 and 8 lob run at .010

I'm just wondering what a paper that is about .018 or .020 would do?

The cheap parchment paper that Dollar Tree sells runs about .0019-.00195. :D

Do you shoot your patched bullets dry, or do you lubricate them...if so, with what?

My match rounds I patch dry, my hunting rounds I patch with Rooster Jacket to keep them weather resistant.
