I wish he was BS'ing, but he's not. I was spotting for him last week and he was getting unbelievable groups at turkeys and rams. Just don't let him tell you he was using blue masking tape.  ........................

Excellent group. :!:
Nothing quite like it when you get the paper patch thing to working good. Gets hard to even think about lubing another grease groove bullet. :)

38-55, Breech Seated, smokeless, Lyman Snover, 1-30 alloy, solid machine rest, would have to guess Remington 2 1/2 primer, SR-4759 guess on powder?
Bullets patched with parched corn husks dampened with aloe? Smith 28-14 stainless gain twist.

When shooters leave our pertinent details the reader is presented with the opportunity to fill in the blanks.

543 gr. BA Elliptical 16-1 alloy. 45-70, 82 gr. Swiss 1.5 easiest load I've ever worked up. .025 compression on powder. It shoots every time I go to the range. :D :D :D I almost forgot, patched with bandaids.

It's like magic. Most of my rifles never see another load.

Did you forget the 120 inch drop tube ?
Actually, plumbers tape works fairly well if wrapped really tight. Haven't tried bandaids.

That's a very good group for 200 yards. I have shot some very good 5 shot groups @ 200 but none as good as that is. Especially a ten shot.
82 - 83 gr of 1.5 Swiss even works well in the 2.4.

Seth Cole 55W 8lb. white Sketch Paper it is .0015 thick, two wraps adds .0055 to a .444 bullet for a total of .4495 slides right in. Ordered it thru Wal Mart. I could not find it in a pad so I have rolls to work with. I bought 4 rolls, if I shoot 17 matches a year, it will last me until I'm 100 yrs. old, I will probably give this up around 95 or so, I should be good to go.
