I know nothing that would prevent it.

Last year I toyed with the idea of changing reticle cells, in my 28 inch MVA scope, during a match. I wanted to use a aperture reticle for chickens and a crosshair for the rest of the animals. The cell is held in by one very small screw, but is otherwise easily changed. I made a thumb screw to replace the small set screw and can change the cell in less than 60 seconds. I still haven't tried it in a match and loaned the aperture cell to Jack Odor while at Raton in August. I hope he remembers to return it when he is done with it.

I use the aperture cell for target rifle and switch back to a centerless mil-dot for Silhouette...............
Good idea, Woody, on the thumb screw. I like it............

As an aside, I don't think MVA still offers an aperture cell. Too bad.......................
