Spotters don't like them very well, when the light flashes it pulls your eye to it and you miss seeing where your hit is, other than that they work fine as long as nobody shoots the light.

They say if you mount it like they say it will take the hits. Don't know as I need one, just thought it might be kind of fun, especially spotting and testing by myself. Sometimes if the wind is right, you get all the smoke back and it doesn't clear in time to lean over and catch it in the scope. Most of the time the target rings good enough to hear.

You cant see the light at long range without using a scope.

Not sure what system they're using at Alliance, but the flasher sits well off to the side of the target. It's plainly visible without a scope.
Biggest problem is if someone shoots and hits the target before the flasher has been off for 3 seconds it doesn't reset and won't indicate the second hit.

I've shot out to 1200 yards and could see the light flash without a scope, but the light needed to be correctly aimed back at the firing line.

I think a pair radios work better and don't cost as much. Didn't know about the yellow light showing misses ours did not work, might have to have faster bullets.
