The first day of Tornado Alley ,at our range in Arcadia Oklahoma, was in a heavy downpour of rain all day.
Our rifles got soaked and my MVA scope was still foggy the next day.
Thank Goodness Jeanne had a DZ arms scope on her 22.
It was clear and fog free so we all three shot it all day.
The next day was all sunshine and it took many hours to dry the MVA out.

Re: MVA VS DZ SCOPE
I put a very tight wrap of electrical tape over the potential openings except for the eye piece. I pulled it off and purged the tube for quite a while with Argon. Replaced the eye piece and taped it.
This was done on a dry summer day, on my hunting rifle scope. Can't tell if it worked for sure, it hasn't been out in the rain but it has left the house on a very cold morning with no fogging.
