Lyman 38-55 seating stem
I purchased a Lyman 38-55 die set. The seating stem provided is for flat tip bullets. I am also using spire pointed bullets. Does anyone know the part number for the Lyman seating stem for spire point bullets ? Thank you

I did. They told me to order # 7121658. It came in Friday. It is not the correct one. I was hoping someone here had run into this problem before and could tell me the correct stem # to order before I call them next week.

I drill out the flat part of the seater enough to insert the pointy bullet loosely.
I use a release adjent on the bullet and put epoxy in the drilled out hole.
Push in bullet straight and you form a perfect nose fitting seater.
I use a 1/2 inch pipe.
Wrap tape around the bullet so it centers into the pipe.
Wrap tape around the seater so it slides perfectly in the center of the pipe; so it is perfectly aligned as the epoxy dries when pushed against the bullet.
