Ha! Cody, I'm going you let you agonize some more. After talking with Hugh, I'm not posting scores, at least not on this thread. I'm sure it will be posted somewhere by someone soon.

Checkout this map for fun and grins. Then zoom in on the Raton region.

For some reason, you will have to type that url into your browser directly.
No mirage, of course. Wind flags lie, of course, and even the dust is evasive, but it is still grand.

:D Looking at the lower cloud picture tells me that the wind will shortly be a problem :D

Scores were low for certain. No one shot a Master's score. Tough stuff it was.

Brent wants to show that's there more to being at Raton than scores. We have been shooting four days so far and life is good.

PS: Brent probably won't brag, but he shot the only Master score in all four days. Sorry Brent, for spilling the beans.

Woody

PS: Cody Smith pulled in today so the neighborhood has further degenerated. LOL

I heard that Brad Rice won the iron sight match. Big surprise! That's all I've heard, no scores at all. Woody is right, there is more to Raton than scores and the winner. It's a great place with lots of good people, good competition and camaraderie.

Rough day. Sporting Clay's course was out of birds so we HAD to shoot .22 BPCR practice instead. Woe, we aren't. Did some laundry and spent the afternoon drinking beer in mild rains and cooking up dinner. Pretty perfect. Again.

Blue wing teal, wild rice, sausage stuffed mushrooms, pineapple upside down cake. Hard to beat.

Tomorrow, .22s all day, sort of like vacation for BPCR Big Bore shooters.
