Powder tool. Who made it?

Post by TN Longhunter »

Friend is conducting a liquidation of a long time shooters estate. He did shoot BPCS. The attached item is to separate fines from 2 and 3 F using one drum with a second drum for separating 2 &3 F. Well made with dovetail construction. Any thoughts on who made it?

I had one of those with both drums that I "motorized" using a BBQ rotisserie motor. It worked great screening Goex powder but I no longer needed or used it after Swiss was available. I sold it in 2008 to a guy in New York. Still have a can of Goex 3F from the screening that's in my muzzle loader stuff.

Travis Purdum will make you one. Works great on Goex and the older Swiss 3F

Someone please correct me if I miss-speak. I have been told that Travis ,AKA, Cal-Graf, is no longer answering the phone, or emails. Rumor has it that he has gone back to the oil patch, although I see he is still shooting some matches.

Woody, I think you are correct. Travis has closed Cal Graf

Just searched Google and found this on the Cal Graf site:

http://www.cal-graf.com/products-page/r ... terscreen/

Can't find anything on the site that says it's shut down.
