Anyone know how to Safely, without ruining the finish or scratching the stock, get those NRA stickers of my butt stock?
Thanks.

Dick,
WD-40. I've used it to remove those stickers from urethane to Linseed with zero stock damage.

I'm with Woody on that. But I make a habit after the first time to put them on the metal where they are easier to deal with. Hate those things.

Should have known WD-40. I would be lost without it and Duct Tape, Gorilla brand, of course.

Re: Those darn stickers
Thanks for that Woody. I've been meaning to ask the same question. Several years ago I bought a used highwall from Steve Rhoades old web site and the buttstock is full of those old stickers.
Do you apply it with a rag or actually spray it onto the stickers?
thanks,
Chris.

Re: Those darn stickers
Both. The stickers are plastic film, so the WD has to work under the edges. Don't be afraid to peel once the edges start to lift. Once the sticker is off, use a rag to wipe off the glue residue. It's works fairly easily.
