I looked at my notes ( I have a book for each rifle ) and saw that I hadn't shot my bull barreled .45-2-7/8" in a long time so I dug it out and brought some Kenny Wasserburger inspired loads to the range. 106.5gr Swiss Fg, Kenny's wad stack, and a 535gr Money bullet patched with Seth Cole 55W.
I'd forgotten how careful you have to be with follow through on this rifle! Even at 15lb this rifle requires more careful holding than my .45-2.4" rifle. Vertical was phenomenal with this load at about 1.25" at 200m.
I haven't spent much time with the big .45 cases in the last few years, but they are a big part of what sucked me into this sport. Thanks for the load data Kenny
Chris.
