Making Bore Pig/Gopher Squeegees For 40-65

I am making BFD Bore Pigs/Gophers for my 40-65 and am trying to find the best material and technique for making the squeegee. What has worked best for you?

Bronze core brushes and cleaning felts. See the bore critter thread in "Shooter to Shooter" forum

See page 3 of the following link for my post (AzTBH) on what components I used for my 40-70SS bore pigs: The combination has been working fine. I especially like the pistol length bore brushes since they fully seat into the chamber and hence do not flex when first starting to push into the bore,
