B5 Scope @ 1000yd

Post by SSShooter »

I've forgotten........ will my MVA B5 scope on the standard 7.2" block spacing reach out to 1000yd with a 1250fps MV?
Thanks.

You will need a riser from MVA. I use a D block on my DZ. works great.

How tall is your 'D' block. I have a bunch of risers I'll need to measure.
Thanks.

Glen the B5 scope risers come in 30, 40 and 50 minute increments. If you use 20 minutes per 100 yards as a guide and you know your maximum range with the stock riser you can judge which ones you need. Keep in mind that if you buy too tall a riser then you will not be able to get down to closer ranges. Heck, just buy all of them.
