A 310 cadet? Very nice, I have one. Pretty accurate actually, but never a bp calibre.

Yeah, I don't know about available brass but would still like to mess with one in .310. I could probably figure out how to form some cases from other close size brass but that is often times a bunch of work.
I actually do like the five groove cadet barrel that is in the wild cat I made up very similar it sounds like to what your shooting. I think the Brits may have been unto something with no direct opposing lands to distort the bullets when bumping up.

Brass is simple, just shortened 32-20 brass, easy to reload for. Shoot, decap, seat primer, charge powder, seat heeled and lubed bullet. Ready. Just about all Brit barrels were land opposing groove, actually. Odd no. of grooves.
Sometimes the rim needs thinning though.

Thanks Gert, that's good case info. I wasn't sure what could be used to form them. I have Geo. Nontes book on case conversion but had not yet consulted it on which case would convert to .310.
