It's going to amaze you at how well it looks Dick. Those pictures don't do it justice.

It was a bit over 3 years. Worth every second of it.

42 rounds down the tube made for another rifle. Thinking this rifle is going to be a really good one.

Thanks Bill, that single trigger is fantastic. I probably would of been better off with a bit smaller aperture up front, but it is what it is. Taking paper patch loads built for another rifle, and heading in to competition with a brand new unfired rifle, it just doesn't get much more gooder.
One thing that did really surprise me was the sight setting on this rifle at 500 was 14 minutes under what the other rifle shoots. So gauging from that a midrange sight would be quite doable at 1000, as that would put the 1000 setting to be around 150 on the MVA staff. I think I'll wait to change that sight out until I've had the chance to shoot it at a 1000 a couple of times to be sure.
The winds were typical Cheyenne quality, so the scores overall were not quite what one would hope for, but a good time was had by all.

Thanks.
One thing I'm hoping to try with this rifle is shooting off the wrist rest. I think it's really going to shine.

A thing of beauty is a joy forever.

Beautiful women may loose their attraction as the years go by but not so much their eye appeal. Good women, however, never diminish only increase in appreciation regardless of the passage of time.

Classically beautiful and accurate rifles are at the heart of our sport and shooting them is like the excitement of dating in our youth each trip to the range.

Real nice heart throb you got there Don.

Which one, the wife or the rifle?
Think it best to keep an eye on you around either.

The winds weren't as stout as when you shot there a couple of months ago, but they were really twitchy and that's what keeps life interesting.
Dick is talking about a good line up of matches next year.

Good work Don,
It can only get better from here.

Hi Don
I have a model 77 ordered with a double set trigger, after reading your post about being happy with the single trigger I’m douting my choice. It would certainly save me some money.
