Would be nice if the 1000yd matches, as few as there are, could be spaced out a bit. Two weekends in a row and 700 miles apart is a bit much for many, even in times of no virus.
You're confusing me.
The link you provided is for the NMLRA match at Camp Atterbury, Sept 12 and 13, not Oak Ridge, TN.

I think I'll start a list now of the people that would go to Raton and shoot 1000 yards.
My e-mail is Glennbob@mbo.net. I'll start a list and if there's enough interest we'll at least try.
Noooo!!!!
That’s the Ring kiss of death!
It’ll never happen!
2020 BPCR Nationals at Raton ran by the Rings: Abruptly cancelled and moved to Pa in a last ditch effort to have a match.
2020 Oklahoma BPCR regional ran by the Rings: Abruptly cancelled, never to be shot again.
I see 2 common denominators in the above matches.
If they are big matches and ran by the Rings.....well you know.
Just pulling your chain Glenn. Come shoot Miller.

My post above was meant to be a tongue and cheek comment. No disrespect was intended to the Rings, I have attended matches ran by them and they do a fine job. They are pleasant people to be around also. I was really looking forward to shooting the OKC regional ran by you guys again. Any match you guys put on I would be happy to try my hardest to attend. The regional you guys put on that I attended will always be one of my best experiences in this shooting game. Like I said. No disrespect intended.
Sometimes when you put something on here with the best intentions of lightening the mood it gets read incorrectly or the interpretation is sometimes not what was intended. When I went back and re-read it, I can see how it sounded harsh.

Oops. You are correct and it is Camp Atterbury and not Oak Ridge, which I believe was cancelled due to the virus. Sorry about that.
Arnie - looks like all this 'staying safe' has us flustered.
Really wish I could do Lodi 2020....that is a fun match. 4 days of Long Range Black Powder Target Rifle.
About 3,600 miles round trip and well worth the effort. Flew once, that won't happen again. Just can't make it this year.
Besides, those are some of the messiest shooters I have seen. Paper confetti on the ground everywhere.
