I have been shooting bullets that are 14:1 out of my 45-70 for almost 4 years now and they bump up a bunch. I have some pictures I can share from shooting into the swimming pool. The first time I pulled out a fired 14:1 Bullet I was shocked to see how much they bumped up. I can post them Thursday when I get home

No worries Kurt, I just thought maybe you had experimented with the bigger cartridges thats all. I hear you though, lead can come from all over and who knows if one refinery does the same as the other to get pure. I will have to just go at it the old school way, and shoot!! :D

The old school way is still the best way. :D
