Baack on subject,
Still waiting for you to post some OE results
I'm waiting for Chuck to bring my new 40-82 to the Quigley.
Don't think I'll put OE in it tho, so my solo door hole matches won't be of much use to you !!

Too busy smashing grass hoppers to get the match site set up !!

By field results that specifies match shooting, either target or silhouette, by the rifleman doing the loading and shooting.

You'll have to define silhouette for us if you want to keep this on track. Do 1000 yd gong shoots count or only shooting pigs and rams etc in all their extremeties count

Steel Gongs are silhouettes of different shapes, aren't they?

Silhouette matches, as in knock down animals, were specified as were target matches in identifying the exclusive categories.

DD,
To be perfectly honest with you I find the OE to have a slight edge over the Swiss 1.5 and 2F this new lot of 5/11/18 is a lot better than the previous lot but I still see better results with the 2F OE plus the new lot of Swiss pushing a slightly tight damp patch through the dry fouling dribbles out of the bore when I slowly push the patch through. I don't see this with the OE.

As far as shooting paper at long range, I loose points cross firing because I just cant see well anymore and I just cant do what I once could behind the rifle, or hand gun for that matter.
I treat the OE like I do the Swiss loading the shells.
I won't bore you with pictures with holes through paper or dust collectors on the wall and in the cabinet :D
I prefer the OE 2F for all calibers except the .40-65, I use 3F OE in it.
