BTW---FYI---FWIW---I needed/need a much bigger target than Chip.
Sometimes you get the chicken, and sometimes you get the feathers!

I agree with Chip. Air rifles are really cheap practice right now. I have a .22 Marauder that doubles as a varmint eradicator. We shoot 1/10th scale steel chicken air rifle targets at 20 yards and I turn the scope down to 6x. Just like shooting chickens with any other rifle...there are good days and bad days.

My marauder with scope weighs about 10 pounds 4 ounces so it's good, off hand trigger time.
