4:00 pm SunnySunny 70 °F 70 °F 0 % 0 in 19 % 20 °F 15 % 4 mph SW 30.04 in

Spike in humidity this afternoon at Rio Rico, all the way up to 15%, wind also up to 4 mph

I checked the forecasts for Columbia City, IA and other notable locations. Appears they are still enjoying winter.

So far, winter came on Monday this year instead of the usual Thursday.

Yes......... good price and free shipping. The styrofoam have a high "shipping premium" and also send a matching number of small boxes that end up in the trash.

Ian - have you finalized your KY match schedule for 2022? Need a 2 or 3-day match the last weekend of March or 1st weekend in April.
Waiting on just one more schedule to come out so that I my finalize mine but our first two day March won’t be until the end of April. My schedule should be done this weekend.

Was proud of myself for making slightly over 100 yesterday. I’ve got a long way to go. Can’t imagine doing 2,900 bullets. I’d feel rich!

Ah, well........... guess I'll shoot our CMP match that weekend. Need all the trigger-time I can get, even if it is with an AR.

It took me a few weeks to make them.

There is a long range match at the end of March in oak ridge Tennessee on the 4th weekend of March if that interests you.

Do you have a link to the match bulletin?

It’s not out yet as he just got the approval for the dates which will be March 25 and 26. It is a fun match. Im not sure how the format will be in 2022 but 2021 we did 3 and 1000 supported and then on Saturday we did 600 and 1000 unsupported.

Thanks, and interesting. But, I'm way beyond shooting a heavy rifle unsupported. Off-hand for chickens and shooting position during our BPTR mid-range matches are enough (actually, probably too much  ).

The unsupported portion really isn’t that bad. Takes some practice. Some lay on their backs like they did 150 years ago.

The bullet trays finally showed up today, here's a couple photos. These things are pretty nice and cost about the same as the styro. They have a ring in each corner to help them stack nice which is pretty cool.

Thanks, but too old to learn that new trick. I'll just shoot the March Shippensburg BPCR match and some local smokeless (ugh) matches.

My trays arrive tomorrow (according to Amazon). Will use a piece of painter's tape on the side to list the weight as I segregate into 0.5gr lots. Hoping they are not as 'thick' as the styrofoam trays. My short 334gr chicken bullets are a pain to grasp as there is so little sticking out.

I can only squeeze out 200 a session with two or three sessions a week. Torn rotator surgery in Feb. and gives me fits after about 150. Rotating calibers and hoping to reach as many as possible before surgery. Will be summer before I can start again.
