Chamber measurements

Post by srkmarine1101 »

Hey guys and gals,

I have my first rifle arriving this September. Just wondering how yall get chamner measurements with new barrels. Do you always chamber cast with new rifles? Is this generally recommended?

My plan was to cast the chamber and swage the barrel so I have measurements before I order a custom die from Steve Brooks.

Thanks much,
Shaun

Thanks! Yea I wasnt sure if you could just ask the manufacturer for their standard chamber/barrrel demensions instead. Should have included that in my first message.

What are you guys using to cast the chamber?
