This was the dumbest coydog I've ever witnessed! I was shooting a 'clanger' behind me....and this idiot comes up out of a deep ditch....walks out just off to one side of the clanger and sits down on his haunches to find out what the strange noise was!! I've wondered if he heard the 540 gr. PJ Creedmoor when it slapped him amidship??

Good shooting Rick, there are a bunch of hunters in the woods that couldn't make that shot with their scoped motengator magnum from a bench rest!

You'd have to have another dumb coyote too. Good thing for them there aren't too many like that.

His wife probably said something like "If you're any kind of man you'll get out there and see what that noise is" as she went the other way.
I shot one that I called up last year with my Lonestar 45-70 at 39 yards. Yours was probably quite a bit farther.
