KW - if it wasn't fer the Democrats you wouldn't even have a wallet. You'd be like those Chinese Coolies digging and laying for the railroad in Wyoming for 25 cents a day. Or like the mineworkers who asked for a fair wage down in Arizona territory and were stuck in cattle boxcars and shipped to the Mexican border and dumped in the desert. They worked for Phelps Dodge in Bisbee, AZ. Or, like the coal miners that slowly died in the mines for a dollar a day, maybe. No health insurance, either.

IF you got it good enough to drink high-dollar whiskey, it is because other's fought the good fight way before you came on the scene. By the way, the Federal Government played a big part both in some injustices and in correcting some injustices. Nothing pure black or white here. Remember, the coal, oil and gas resources belong to the people of the USA, not to the Demorcrats or Republicans.

Got to thinking. One of my best friends died 10 years ago was an oilman of sorts. He started by carrying drilling rod as a teenager over the hills of Texas before WWII. He was a big man and from Longview. In WWII he was military police and spent his time busting heads and dragging guys from fights in bars. He never made any good money working rigs until he started a radiator shop fixing those big radiators in the 1970's. Since when did you guys start making those wages sos you got more taxes than some guys get in salaries?
