Sight Question

Post by rwsr50 »

Does anybody make a front sight insert that is the silhouette of a deer? I think that's the only way I'm going to get one "in" my sights, the way this season's going so far!

Just hang a carrot on the muzzle, that works every time

Cut this out and glue it to your front sight. Or have a machinist lazer-cut a custom insert for you. That's what I did.

Getting so weary of not seeing any deer, that the gray squirrels are starting to look mighty tempting. Do you think the 700 grain .50 caliber will anchor one?

Don't feel bad, it seems to be that way everywhere this year. Two years ago I hunted 35 consecutive days in Alabama. I had made up my mind to go home to Kalifornia. That night the news said 25 degrees the next morning. I stayed and hunted one more day. Killed the biggest deer I have ever shot. It will come. Just think of all the poor slobs hard at work while you are in heaven watching the squirrels. 8)
PS Grey squirrels are good eating too!
