Grandson #3

Post by RMulhern »

My 8 year old Grandson Connor with his first buck! This buck weighed in at 210# without an ounce of fat on him! Plenty of corn/beans to eat but I guess he ran it all off rutting! Connor was hunting with his Dad when he got this buck; right thru the 'pumping unit' from 100 yards.

Rick, That's a heavy whitetail, at least compared to what I get around here. In what state was it obtained?

Naw!! This ones a 'punk'!! No fat at all....lean as a snake but he tipped the scales which are right on at 210#. Not unusual here in North Louisiana to get corn fed bucks weighing in excess of 250#.

Rick,

What an amazing life you have with your children and grandchildren. My hat's off to you!
I had gotten possession of a big "50" gun early in the fight, and was making considerable noise with it.
