If you make a blowtube out of that bison's johnson, you may wish to install a spit valve in the bottom of the scrotum. May save some time at the firing line.

ok poke,,, how big was your animal....1000lbs. or more than that??? i'm tring to get an idea.... the ones we will be hunting are suppposed to be in the 800 to 1000 lb. range... i really don't want to be looking for coolers after the fact..... thanks for the help :lol:

ochary, the bull weighed approx 1050 on the hoof, and after head, hide, intestines and legs below the knees were removed the hanging weight was 495. brought home 400 lbs. of meat most of it boned except for ribs, t-bones. 153 lbs of buffburger alone.

Try Wal-mart for large coolers, they had the best prices that I found. Randy

ochary, btw, when you get your animal, look at the front and rear hooves, you will see that the front hooves are half again as large as the rear. To support the heavier front body of the critter I guess. Randy
